Our office serves all of your needs with regard to deeds, mortgages, leases, marriage licenses as well as other legal recordings concerning real estate. We also serve your needs for vehicle registrations and titling, tax collection on motor vehicles and insurance verification. We are also your voter registrar and conduct all elections in Leslie County. We are committed to preserving your records from yesterday and all of today's records for tomorrow and our future generations.

Election News
Important Election Information for the November 7th General Election
Voters who qualify may make a request for absentte ballot starting September 23rd - October 24th. Voters may make request online at https://www.govote.ky.gov or by contacting the County Clerk's Office.
October 10, 2023 is the last day to register to vote to be eligible for the GENERAL ELECTION. All registrations must be in the County Clerk's Office by 4:00PM on October 10th.
In-Person NO- EXCUSE early voting begins November 2nd - 4th from 8:00AM - 4:00PM at the Leslie County Annex building inside the courtroom. ANY REGISTERED VOTER WHO HAS NOT APPLIED FOR A MAIL-IN ABSENTEE BALLOT MAY VOTE DURING THIS TIME.
In-Person excused early voting begins October 25th - 27th and continues October 30th - November 1st from 8:00AM - 4:00PM at the County Clerk's Office. ANY VOTER WHO QUALIFIES MAY VOTE DURING THIS TIME.

Returning Your MAIL-IN Ballot
Any voters who has applied for a mail-in absentee ballot must return that ballot back to the county clerk’s office by 6:00pm election day. Voters may return their ballot by mail or by using our ballot drop box. Our secure ballot drop box is located at the Leslie County courthouse (22010 Main Street Hyden, KY 41749) right outside the front doors.
